YMCA International Department
Global Education for Teens 
August 12, 2010 marked the beginning of the UN "Year of Youth". This year the international department will be focused on engaging youth in our community and empowering them to make a difference!
We are currently working in collaboration with the YMCA Leader Corps and Newcomer Youth Programs to deliver presentations and activities to help youth think about their role in the local and global communities. Presentations are around diversity, racial discrimination, fair trade, poverty, environment, gender, peace and more.
